A fictional quote of 15,000 baht rent, two deposit months, one advance month and 5,000 setup needs 50,000 upfront. Of that, 30,000 is deposit cash and 15,000 is advance rent. Enter the actual contract terms. Keep rent already prepaid out of the first month’s spending total to avoid counting it twice.

Questions before you calculate
Is a refundable deposit the same as monthly spending?
No. Track the cash tied up separately; refund timing and deductions follow your contract.
Which formula does this comparison use?
Deposit cash = monthly rent × deposit months. Advance cash = monthly rent × advance months. Upfront total = deposit + advance + setup costs.
