With a fictional 200-baht fee, two withdrawals of 5,000 baht cost 400 in operator fees. One withdrawal of 10,000 costs 200. A 1% issuer charge on 10,000 adds 100 in either case. Confirm the actual machine limit and your cash needs before choosing a withdrawal size. The example fee is an input, not a bank tariff.

Questions before you calculate
Does a larger withdrawal reduce percentage fees?
Not in this model when the same percentage applies to the same total cash amount.
Which formula does this comparison use?
For one withdrawal, total THB = cash + ATM fee + cash × issuer % ÷ 100 + issuer fixed fee. For a cash plan, convert cash amounts to whole satang before counting: withdrawals = ceil(total cash ÷ cash per withdrawal). Total fees = withdrawals × (operator fee + issuer fixed fee) + total cash × issuer % ÷ 100. The final withdrawal supplies only the remaining cash.
